The Big Ugly's projected date of release

My Friends,

Thank you for honoring me by visiting this blog. I am very proud and humbled because you are are either a friend wishing to support me, or you are a survivor wishing to recover from child abuse.

The Big Ugly has been making the rounds throughout the United States for quite a while, in support groups or by being handed from person to person. I finally bit the bullet and published it through Rosedog Publishing. They have been very supportive and helpful by guiding this amateur writer through the process of publishing.

I know I will never really be know as a literary superstar. I believe I broke every known English composition rule while writing The Big Ugly. That's alright. I didn't write it to dazzle the readers. I wrote it in an attempt to uncover a deep seated problem that defied a known name, hence I called it The Big Ugly.

I have finally been given a projected date of release for the book. Hopefully it will be available April 30th, 2010! As my granddaughter would say "Ta-Da!!"

I am very proud to be counted among the vast group of child incest and abuse survivors. It can kill just as many of woman and men as breast cancer. I want to be a part in the healing process. We can heal and we can overcome the damage and pain. We can and do it every day. We do need to be more verbal though.

I was once again disgusted when I saw on the national news that another child was killed by a KNOWN child molester that served a few years in prison; a person that should have been jailed for LIFE!

Anyway, let the bloggers, blog! Let us start our own ribbon campaign. What color should our ribbon be? Let me hear from you!
